"WE THE PEOPLE" A SONG IN THE MAKING
A new member from Louisiana sent us the lyrics for a song he was creating, and we asked for permissiojn to post them to our site so others could read them. This was his reply:
Wow. I didn't expect that response. Thank you. I had to think about whether I wanted them published, and I suppose it would be ok. I am a little hesitant because "We the People" is intended to be a song. If Ed would like to publish it, though, then that means it is good enough in written form for our purposes. I added another verse and a chorus to it, so its completed form is:
We the People
So many problems knocking at our door...
The foundation of freedom shaken to its core,
We're fighting wars that we can't afford,
We the People
The Federal Reserve, and income tax,
Terrorist this, and terrorist that,
Just strapping burdens upon our backs,
We the People
9-11; the "Patriot" Act:
WMD's; bombing Iraq
Propaganda. Simple as that.
We the People
We got cancer, and HIV,
High blood pressure, heart disease.
Poison in the food we eat,
We the People
There's rigged elections, voter fraud,
The love of power has become the god,
Of those who wish to control us all,
We the People
Our Constitution flapping on the breeze
Of lies designed to bring us to our knees,
Our spirits battered, our efforts scattered,
We the People
A few choice words now to Uncle Sam:
Our lives have value. You don't understand,
We're not your servants, and we're not your slaves,
We the People
With all our problems beating down our door,
Here's Liberty's chance to settle the score.
This country is mine and yours,
We the People
Chorus:
Wake up, get up, rub your eyes and take a look around,
Things are never what they seem, how is that different now?
Let's take the world upon ourselves and make it change somehow.
You and me, We the People
|
I'll be sure to send you a copy of the recording once I make one. I have a bazillion songs, but only two with lyrics I consider "good enough". I'm trying to get three together so I can begin to market them. My hope is that I can support myself in this way so I can commit all my time to the Movement. I also need good equipment if I am to be taken seriously, as all I have now that sounds good is my trusty acoustic guitar. I'm plugging away at it, and I think I'll be able to pull it off. I'm so excited I can barely restrain myself, and I had to tell you about it.

DOUBTS ABOUT OIL NOT BEING DERIVED FROM FOSSILS
On January 31, we published a news report of a scientific study that raised doubts about the traditionl view that oil is formed in the Earth from decayed and compressed fossil plants and animals. The study revealed that oil contains carbon 13 isotopes which are not of fossil origin but it said that carbon 12 is found also, which IS related to fossil origin. This promped Jules Rudy in the UK to write:
"Petroleum like all things on this Earth is a finite resource as the Earth is a sphere and can not regenerate itself. If oil is abiotic {non fossil] in origin the all oil should have carbon 13 instead of 12?
Thanks for your hard work"
CAN A BUSH SUPPORTER TELL THE TRUTH?
Recently we added a book to our inventory entitled Exposing the Real Che Guevara and the Useful Idiots Who Idolize Him. I didn't like the sub-title because I felt it needlessly insulted those who, without knowing the real biography of Guevara, had simply accepted the popular myth and followed the fad. Nevertheless, we sponsored the book because I felt the public needed to be aware of the true face of the Communist revolution in Cuba, and it is not the pretty face that many have been led to believe. This led to a response from one of our readers who complained that the information in the book could not be accurate because, according to Wikipedia, the author has had articles published in rightwing periodicals and is a supporter of President Bush. She concluded: "Personally, that has discredited him in my book... How about yours."
This was my reply:
Hello Elizabeth.
It is commonly assumed that information coming from the “right” or the “left” is to be automatically rejected because it is biased. I do not accept this because I have found over the years that the left and the right are excellent hound dogs at digging up the truth about their opponents. I personally am repulsed by both the left and the right, not because I am a so-called middle-of-the roader, but because the left and the right are not opposites at all. They are essentially the same except that they oppose each other. They do this, not because they have opposing ideologies, but because they vie with each other for control of the world. Life under Communism and life under Nazism are not healthy choices, and I reject them both. You may find my analysis of this topic to be of interest: http://www.freedom-force.org/freedomcontent.cfm?fuseaction=left_right&refpage=issues.
Some of the best exposés of the Bush administration have come from the Leninist-leaning camp, and I do not reject them just because I reject Leninism. Likewise, some of the best exposés of the Leninists and their Leftist supporters have come from the Neocons, and I do not reject them just because I reject the Neocon program. The only sensible approach is to remain focused totally on the accuracy of the information, regardless of the source. Yes, we should be cautious and skeptical when looking at biased sources (from either side) but we must not summarily reject the information without further investigation.
In the case of the Cuban Communist revolution, I have had extensive contact with Cuban refugees, many of whom originally had supported Castro. One of them was Major Pedro Dias Lanz who had been Castro’s personal pilot before he defected after discovering what Castro's true agenda really was. They all have told me essentially the same story as told by Fontova, so I have no reservations at all about the accuracy of his book.
By the way, assuming Wikipedia is an authoritative reference, you will notice that its synopsis of Guevara’s career confirms the fact that he was in charge of the show trials and mass executions in Cuba.
Thank you for taking the time to do an independent investigation of your own. I wish more people would do that.
THE ANCIENT ORIGIN OF COLLECTIVISM
Ed, I appreciate your doing the videos on "Individualism vs Collectivism". It seems to me that the origin of "collectism" is essential to really get the point across regarding the basis of that philosophic system. This is a blog I posted on God Like Productions Forum:
To understand "collectivism", one has to understand its origin. One has to go back some 3500 or more years to the ancient land of Persia, where the people who lived near the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea were predators/pirates preying upon the neighboring people. Their pirate ships were propelled by small sails, but mostly by slave oarsmen.
A Persian king by the name of Hummarabi (around 1850 BC) was converted by "preachers"
of Melchizedek' philosophy, the priest of Salem (Jerusalem) who converted Abraham a 100 years earlier from his Chaldean (Persian) elitist philosophy. Hummarabi edicted a code of laws, based upon his newly learned philosophy. And, apparently among these was the forbidding of slavery. So, the pirate faction, to maintain their livlihood, came up with a solution to maintain their slave crewmembers - they made them "body parts (members) of the ship. And, as a grouping as "crew", they were then forced to be a "team". Hearing any words that sound familiar?
Around 1500 BC, a city state was built up at Babylon in Persia by Chaldean priests who had migrated from Egypt after the pole shift, (where they had ruled as elite/royalty for centuries (not the priests, of course, but the philosophic organization). That lasted for some 1,000 years, and then they were again forced to move, and they ended up in the 7 hills of the Etruskan lands amd established Rome (around 300 BC). It was there that modern collectivism" originated. The Red Robe Priests, headed by the chief priest, the Pontifex Maximus, the Emperor of Rome, made all human institutions into "make-believe ships at sea", and called them incorporations or corporate bodies.
They used the philosophy of their ancient Persian ancestors in their making the ship the object, and the human (crew)members as subject slaves of the ship, or make-believe ship. As a "crew", the "team" was formed. The humans function as dispensable and replacable body parts of the team, the ship. Thus, we have the basic philosophic origin of "collectivism".
Remember, all crew or team members are equal, but some are more equal than others.

GLOBAL WARMING IS A FACT BUT THERE'S MORE TO IT THAN THAT
Ed, it is difficult to give credence to your information when you rely on The Washington Times for information. Having traveled to the south tip of South America and having observed the amount of receding the glaciers there have experienced in the past 20 years, and having seen a similar result in Alaska, there can't be any argument that we have a
warming trend. ... As for as the 400 scientists go, some people will believe anything even if they are scientists.
Richard Sutherland
2007 December 29
Mr. Griffin's reply:
Hello Richard.
Thanks for the comment.
We do not rely on The Washington Times but on the scientists and data posted. In almost every case, we find this data available in multiple media outlets but have to choose one.
I fear that you have missed our point about global warming. If you will read the information we are putting out, you will see that we are not denying global warming. What we are saying is that global warming is cyclical, has occurred many time before in Earth's history, is caused by cycles in solar activity, is NOT caused by industrial activity, is NOT dangerous (in fact is beneficial), and is being used as a scare tactic to frighten people into accepting greater government control over our activities and our lives. For a hefty sampling of the reasons for this view, I urge you to visit our web page devoted to this topic. I believe you will find the evidence overwhelming.
Thanks for your concern over this important issue.

LENINIST CONTROL OVER PACIFIC SOUTHWEST WOULD BE A GOOD THING?
(This is in reference to last week's news article about Leninist influence within the movement for the Lakota indians to secede from the Union)
It may be "Leninists" who are urging the Lakota Sioux to secede from the union as you say but I see that development as a good thing. And the more this development rolls along, with more people joining them, and hopefully a few states as well, maybe, just maybe, we can gain enough power and momentum to effect a bloodless coup and wrest control away from the Bush crime syndicate and restore the republic. Our military is on the verge of a revolt as we speak. With their help, we could certainly, as Jefferson so eloquently stated, provide the tree of liberty with it's natural manure: the blood of tyrants.
W.B., 2007 December 27
G. Edward Griffin replies:
Having a portion of the United States under Leninist rule would NOT be a good thing - and it certainly would not be a bloodless coup. That's not how "wars of national liberation" are implemented. The people living under the new regime would be no better off than they are now; probably worse. Communist revolutions and their aftermath are not pretty. The so-called People’s Paradise is indistinguishable from the Nazi model. The only real solution is to drive out ALL collectivists, whether from the Right or the Left.

33 SENATORS WHO VOTED AGAINST AMERICA

Senators,
Your vote against an amendment to the Immigration Bill 1348, to make English America's offical language is astounding. On D-Day no less when we honor those that sacrificed in order to secure the bedrock character and principles of America . I can only surmise your vote reflects a loyalty to illegal aliens.
I don't much care where you come from, what your religion is, whether you're black, white or some other color, male or female, democrat, republican or independent, but I do care when you're a United States Senator, representing citizens of America and vote against English as the official language of the United States.
Your vote reflects betrayal, political surrender, violates your pledge of allegiance, dishonors historical principle, rejects patriotism, borders on traitorous action and, in my opinion, makes you unfit to serve as a United States Senator... impeachment, recall, or other appropriate action is warrented.
Worse, 4 of you voting against English as America's official language are presidential candidates: Senator Biden, Senator Clinton, Senator Dodd, and Senator Obama. Those 4 Senators vying to lead America but won't or don't have the courage to cast a vote in favor of English as America's official language when 91% of American citizens want English officially designated as our language. This is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have disgraced themselves as political hacks... unworthy as Senators and certainly unqualifed to serve as President of the United States.
If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a back-lash so stunning it will literally rock you out of your panties... and preferably, totally out of the United States Senate.
The entire immigration bill is a farce... your action only confirms this really isn't about America ; it's about self-serving politics... despicable at best.

SUBSCRIBER SUSPECTS REALITY ZONE OF ANTI-SEMITICISM
Dear Mr. Griffin:
In the issue dated September 28, there was a link to an opinion piece on the Senate hate crime bill written by Ted Pike and posted on David Duke's web site. In case you are not aware (which I highly doubt), both David Duke and Ted Pike are virulent racists and anti-semites.... While it may be comforting for you to know that neo-Nazis are in agreement with you on this issue, perhaps in the future you would consider finding other sources for your news, sources that are less jaundiced and more rational in their overall approach....I'm extremely disappointed in you and Freedom Force. I have read your book, Creature from Jekyll Island, and was very impressed by it. It inspired me to look into your other writings and led me to your web site. Now I have to wonder about your agenda.
Sincerely,
Disgusted in Pittsburgh, 2007 September 30
Mr. Griffin responds
Hello Disgusted.
I am flummoxed over your suspicion that I have an anti-Semitic agenda. A careful reading of The Creature from Jekyll Island the Issues section of the Freedom Force web site, and the Freedom Force Code of Conduct will quickly dispel that notion. However, in this instance I can understand your concern over our choice of sources. The story was widely reported on the Internet, and we easily could have used another source. The truth is embarrassingly simple. I did not connect the names of David Duke or Ted Pike with anything objectionable. Now that I have looked up these names on the Internet, I recall that Duke was a member of the KKK, but I have no recollection of ever hearing about Ted Pike. In any event, I agree with you that we should have found another source for this story and, in the future, we will try to be more careful about sources that are not familiar to us. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

WHO IS TRAINING BAD COPS?
The actions of policemen are a reflection of their training...and from my observation, the younger these "public servants" are, generally the worse they act (raised on Rambo, perhaps?). Why isn't there an initiative to 'check' or oversee who is responsible for the training police receive; an oversight committee of non-lawyers who can directly observe what they're throwing into the training that shouldn't be there, and what they've thrown out that should? Many times they go overboard and it makes the news...but even when it doesn't make the news it can all too often be intimidating, dangerous and an assault on the rights allegedly possessed by We the People. We shouldn't have to wonder (worry or fear) what additional issues a policeman could instigate by a routine encounter with him.

Comments on Psychiatry; An Industry of Death
Hello,
Here are some comments about the DVD you recently announced entitled Psychiatry; An Industry of Death. In your description, you wrote: "When psychiatry and totalitarian governments join forces, dissidents can be imprisoned, medicated, and given shock torture (called therapy) to "cure" their dissent."
I state that Psychiatry is also nowadays in so called democracies a tool of political control. It is only much more sophisticated. Selected targets get radiated with microwaves until they expose signs of mental sickness, and so the reason to admit them to a mental ward is given. What behind closed wards can happen is out of control of the patients.
Here are two sites about victims of radiation attacks:
http://www.aches-mc.org/
http://mindcontrolforums.com/
http://www.mikrowellenterror.de/english/index.htm
In Germany you cannot even resist against hypnosis in a ward. You don't even know what the doctor is programming in your mind, pretending to heal you.
My sister is a social worker and said that people get changed in social institutions. They come out different than when they went in. And that is all determined by doctors and politicans, not the patients. So people are 'made' to the desire of the system and cannot decide to become the way they want. So politics can eliminate opposition forever.
I am a target of radiation. It is being used to program me to become a Social Democrat (a political party in Germany similar to the Democrats in the U.S.). I personally prefer the greens and now think parlamentary democracy is the merely a path to slavery through regulation. Under the guise of providing help, freedom is abolished. That happens in America also. ... They just declare a political undesirable to be mental ill and submit him to a ward. Done in Germany a few years ago. That this case went public has to do with the fact that the target has good connections and was a established educated man. How often this happens to people without that benefit I do not know.
Psychiatry is a well hidden political tool in so-called democracies of today.

Unfiltered News is slanted!
Mr. Griffin,
I find this weeks Unfiltered News highly slanted and disturbing.
“US. Intelligence chief says Russian spies at “Cold War Levels.” Since there are only five communist countries in the world today and we have terrorized and attacked all five mercilessly and without provocation (Cuba, China, North Korea, Vietnam and Laos), then why is this newsworthy?
“Hundreds of students riot in central China” I taught at Illinois State University from 1984-1989 and in the fall of 1984, hundreds of ISU students rioted in the streets of Normal, Illinois over beer. The US is allowing 430,000 Americans to die every year from cigarette smoke, which as you know could be prevented with B-17, and over a quarter of all high school students smoke, so what’s the point of this news item?
“China exports lead poisoning through its products” and “US: FDA warns to throw away toothpaste from China because…” How about the US puts poison in its toothpaste, MSG and aspartame in its food, including hundreds of other terrible unnatural chemicals, and is genetically modifying it’s own food so that even rats are dying from eating it. And why are you quoting ANYTHING from the FDA? They okayed aspartame, genetically modified foods and fluoride in every drink in the US.
Wouldn’t it be far better to concentrate on all the corruptness in this country? Shouldn’t evangelists clean up their own dirty backyards, before first criticizing others?
We’ve got these goddamned excuses for human beings running our government and poisoning the world chemically, politically, morally, and with propaganda and you want us to be concerned about China. The ONLY way I could possibly be concerned with China is the hatred our government is now inspiring around the world against Americans, which may make the average Chinese eventually hate us.
What are you doing?
Victor Connor, 2007 June 11
Mr. Griffin responds
Hello Victor.
I agree with your sentiment that we should clean up our own house first, but I am deeply distressed by a major segment of the population, aligned with the political Left, that focuses entirely on problems in the United States. We have a definite “hate America” movement here, and the people who get caught up in it sometimes are persuaded that collectivist regimes in Russia, China, Cuba, and Venezuela are benign, if not outright desirable. If we don’t like the Bush Administration, and Hugo Chavez doesn’t like the Bush Administration, there is a tendency for people to think of Chavez as a freedom fighter. We need to be reminded that collectivism is the enemy of freedom no matter what country is infected by it. That is why Unfiltered News does not filter out stories about problems in the Leninist world. It is true that the last issue had more than its share of news from that part of the world; but, overall, about 70% of our stories relate to the United States, England, Canada, and other parts of the Western World, so we certainly are not ignoring our own house. Thank you for your observation.
Men are stupid!
The following letter was received in response to the article in last week's Unfiltered News entitled "Pills for Periods." Author, Mike Adams, wrote that excessive PM cramps are not natural but are related to improper diet and lack of exercize. Here is the letter:
Are you NUTS?????
Only a man would write that article and only a man would be stupid enough to post it. I've had extremely painful periods all my life. I eat mostly organic, vegetarian (some fish) and exercise 3 times per week. This male run society is nuts to expect us to make due with 5 sick days per year when half the working population could easily use 17 (12 +5). No, I probaly won't be using the new pill because I know better than to trust the drug companies but I'm very greatful that someone is looking into this problem and trying to offer some relief and I resent the article as portraying my pain as anything different than normal. The painful contractions are supposed to prepare us for childbirth - WHATS NOT NORMAL IS HAVING PERIODS INSTEAD OF LOTS OF CHILDREN. Women throughout history have had children and breast fed them for most of their lives, so periods were rare events. And no, I'm not just having PMS!!!!

Reader says Ron Paul can't be trusted.
Dear Ed,
Is there anyone who can be trusted anymore? Anyone? All the 9-11 truth sites are promoting this guy for president, and yet he doesn't have the courage to talk about 9-11 truth. As you have suggested, everyone on the world stage needs to be scrutinized. 9-11 truth is part of my personal criteria for trusting anyone. Ron Paul has failed so far. I'll keep a close eye on him.
JP, 2007 May 19
Hello John
Ron Paul can speak for himself, but I am sure he is deliberately avoiding the topic because he knows that, although the majority of the American people are sympathetic to his foreign policy position and fiscal conservatism, they are not yet ready to accept that 9/11 was a false flag operation. If he were to be identified with the 9/11 Truth movement, it probably would be the end of his appeal to the majority of voters. So long as he does not close the door on the 9/11 Truth movement or endorse the official version, I think he is taking the correct path – the only path with any chance of success.
Some people will not be satisfied unless a candidate calls Bush a traitor, a murderer, and a member of the Illuminati, but that would be the shortest distance to ending the candidate’s career. Politicians cannot get too far ahead of their constituencies if they want to have their support. The problem is not with Ron Paul but with the lack of understanding of the American people. I think he is doing an amazingly good job of walking the fine line of appealing to the voters while, at the same time, adhering to principle on everything he chooses to discuss. Before being too critical, I think we should mentally put ourselves in his position and think about how we would handle the campaign and how long we would survive against the professional image assassins in the media.

Reader says we did not go to the Mood.
From my research ,we did not go. William Cooper first brought this to my attention, I actually got to talk to him in person about this. when I first heard him say this, I clicked off the radio in disgust saying "your crazy" . Then he asked me questions about surface temp, radiation, micro-meteorites which I could NOT answer. I had to admit he had points to consider. Then FOX TV had a special on , "Conspiracy Theory- Did we land on the Moon?" I couldnt believe it because everybody thought I was crazy UNTIL that TV show came on. That show blew ppls minds so much they requested 3 more showings. THEN all of a sudden , I was right ... that TV show is the best explanation of why we didnt goto the Moon. It has everybody on there; Kaysing, Ralph Rene, Sibril, etc... These guys were the only ones bringing hardcore evidence. I was vindicated locally. An interesting side was the NASA spokesman on the show , after admitting that he wasnt "prepared" for the show , stated that he'll research the subject, long story short, he died of a "heart attack". My opinion is the hoax serves as a litmus test to see if the public is still sleeping. And they are.

At Virginia Tech, as usual, nobody else had a gun
So far, 22 people are dead and another 21 wounded in the attack launched by one gunman reportedly armed with two 9mm pistols and extra magazines at the campus of Virginia Tech on 4/16/07.
Virginia is one of the many states with “Shall Issue” concealed gun laws, which means that if a citizen who has not been convicted of a felony or domestic violence, and they are not judged mentally unstable, the law requires they be issued a concealed gun permit upon request.
But nobody in range of the gunman, other than late-arriving police, had a gun. To make it even more senseless and inexcusable, this is the second recent firearms attack at Virginia Tech.
The gunman in the second incident is dead, and I suspect he got tired of waiting for the cops so he did it himself.
I don’t know the policy at Virginia Tech, but I’ll bet there is a no-gun policy on campus, which means everybody there were just sitting ducks, fleeing for their lives or hiding. It is reported some students jumped from second story windows and ran to safety.
To be certain, there will be yet another call for gun control over this incident, which translates as follows: The citizens who are afraid of guns and don’t want to have them, will try to impose their will on everybody else, making us all sitting ducks for the next gunman to slaughter.
In their mindless quest for non-violence, these well-meaning folks actually envision a nation with such stringent gun bans that nobody will have a gun. But that is never going to happen in the United States, because there are too many guns and there is absolutely no way to vacuum them all up by passing laws to make them go away. We can’t make even the slightest dent in the amount of illegal drugs smuggled into this nation, so there is no way we’ll ever completely eliminate the availability of guns to people who should not have them.
In the world of reality and clear thinking, the only way to fight fire in the hands of criminals, is to have equal fire to stop them.
I was recently talking to a Chicago Police Captain on other business, and Chicago, like the District of Columbia and New York City, have virtual bans on possessing handguns. I asked this 25-year veteran Captain if there was any shortage of handguns on Chicago streets, and he laughed at the absurdity of my question. In the case of Chicago, the law-abiding generally don’t have handguns, while the violent criminals mostly do.
The United States District Court, which has jurisdiction in the District of Columbia, recently ruled the D.C. handgun ban unconstitutional on the basis that it clearly violates the citizens’ right to bear arms under Article II of the Bill of Rights. Of course, that decision is being appealed to the full court on the laughable basis that the ruling will increase violent crime. There are few places in the United States that have a higher violent crime rate involving handguns than the District of Columbia, so it is doubtful it could get much worse.
And what excuse does the anti-gun crowd come up with to explain why their gun ban doesn’t work? They blame guns coming in from neighboring states with more liberal gun laws. If the entire United States enacted a strict gun ban, the same people would blame guns being smuggled in from other nations. Again, we can’t seem to stem the flow of illegal drugs into this nation, but these bright thinkers will still insist a complete gun ban would reduce gun violence. It follows the same line of thinking of committed Communists, who insist Communism and Socialism will work, but it just hasn’t been done right yet.
The problem is human nature, which is and always has been a constant we have to deal with, but these “progressive” thinkers always seem to leave that out of the equation.
So getting back to this tragedy in Virginia in which 22 students died and another 21 were injured, many of those undoubtedly in critical condition, the one thing the anti-gun crowd will never admit is that one student with a concealed handgun in the right place at the right time could have saved some -- or all of them.
But as usual, nobody but the responding cops had guns. The only option the students trapped on that campus could do was run, hide, jump…or get shot. In a state with a liberal concealed handgun law, not one of those students were able to fight back with the same means the killer had, and that is what I find inexcusable.
If you live in a state that has a Shall Issue concealed gun law, and if you have obtained a gun permit, for Heaven’s sake carry the gun! Here in Oregon, we have the same Shall Issue laws on the books, but far too many of those who obtain the permits do not carry the gun on their person. Women carry the guns primarily in their purse, and the men often have the gun concealed out in the glove compartment of their car. In the real world, if you need a gun to defend yourself and others, you’ll need to access it immediately. A gun in your car parked outside is about as useless as a broken leg.
